• crowbar, level, screwdriver, screwdriver set;

Stage 2 - preparation of the opening

The algorithm of actions to remove the old door is as follows:

• the old canvas is removed from the hinges, if there is one;
• the platbands and insulation materials that could fill the voids are removed;
• cuts are made on the sides of the box, the lower elements of the box are removed, then the upper ones;
• if necessary, the opening is adjusted to the dimensions of the new canvas, you can increase its dimensions with the help of a grinder

• you can align the structure with the help of cement, filling the gaps formed and plastering the frozen surface.

Stage 3-assembly of the door structure

When buying a door, the buyer receives a set of large elements and a canvas that need to be assembled into a single structure.
The simplest scheme, which is offered by the instructions for installing interior doors with your own hands, involves the following sequence of works:

1. On the floor or other surface around the canvas, parts of the door frame are laid out. Then you need to make a gap between the box and the cardboard, for this purpose, ordinary cardboard from the packaging is suitable. After that, the upper crossbar is applied to the upper ends of the bars and the dimensions of the lintel are measured.
2. The next step is to make cuts with a hacksaw with small teeth. Putting the lintel to the bars and laying the cardboard for the gap, the profile is cut off if it interferes with the connection of the fasteners. In their place, screws are screwed in. Installing loops

then, with the help of a chisel, the selection is carried out.

Stage 4 - installation of the box and door

The box is installed in the opening and aligned to the level. To fix it, self-tapping screws are used, which are screwed in increments of about 25-30 centimeters. It is important not to forget to remove the decorating bar beforehand. It should also be noted that it is impossible to make a hole in the walls with a wood drill, so after working with the box, you should measure its level and continue drilling the walls by replacing the drill.

Dowels are put into the holes, and then the box is fixed to the screws. To avoid the occurrence of deflections, you can use wedges. Next, the door is installed on the hinges, the lock is inserted and the handles are mounted. The voids between the box and the wall are filled with mounting foam, it is important not to overdo it with its amount, since it significantly increases in size and is able to pull out the screws. It takes about 24 hours to completely solidify.

Stage 5 - finishing the opening

For a thin wall, platbands are best suited. They are mounted on the box on both sides and close the foam seams. Wider openings are closed with platbands and additional slats, which can be cut off in accordance with the required dimensions. On average, it takes from 3 hours for all the work.
